Web platform · astrology

NakshtraTak — astrology platform with its own calculation engine

A consumer astrology platform built around a Swiss Ephemeris calculation engine I wrote in Python — birth charts, panchang, dashas, matching, festival dates.

Own ephemeris engine (planets, 16 divisional charts, 12 dasha systems, muhurat) with a regression suite of 50 charts × 5,300 values so a change can never silently break maths
2,500+ server-rendered pages in 7 languages, with a translation pipeline and glossary so technical terms are never machine-mangled
Razorpay wallet and one-click payments, GST invoices, WebRTC audio consultations with per-minute billing, web push, admin panel for everything
PDF report generator (60-page reports) — cut from 84s to 54s; API responses cached in Redis and pre-warmed, so cold pages stay under a second

Calculators and guides for India's new Income-tax Act, 2025 — every rule traced to its section, every page dated.

36 interactive calculators plus programmatic pages generated from JSON data (GST rates, professional tax by state, salary slabs, SAC codes, glossary)
Separate FastAPI service with its own admin panel — content edits publish through a build step, no database needed at runtime

We talk

A short call or chat about what you need and why. If I am not the right person for it, I will say so.

STEP 2

Fixed scope

You get the scope, price and delivery date in writing before any code is written. Milestones for bigger work.

STEP 3

Weekly build

Every week you get something you can open and click — not a status email. Changes are easy while it is still small.

STEP 4

You own it

Code, server, domain and accounts are all yours, with a handover doc. Support after delivery if you want it.

Rates & availability

Simple pricing

Whichever suits you — hourly for ongoing work, fixed price when the scope is clear. Indian clients can pay in INR, international in USD.

Fixed priceper project

Clear scope, clear number, milestone payments. Small sites and apps usually start at ₹25,000–₹40,000.
